
Bryson Crane Rental was started in 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee. Les Bryson risked it all to buy is first crane. He believed that all he needed build a strong company was a reliable crane and the will to work hard. For nine years, Les ran his one-man operation as a business owner and crane operator. Over the years, he instilled his work ethic in his two sons, Mike and Jim.
In 1964, Mike, the eldest, joined his father working by his side as a crane operator. In 1971 Jim, joined his father and brother as an operator as well. Ten years later the Bryson family relocated the company to its present location in Daytona Beach Florida. Mike and Jim Bryson, who work side-by-side daily with their employees, are today running the Bryson Crane Rental Service and still they are willing to hop into a crane and go to work when needed.
Bryson Crane Rental handles all types of jobs. Jobs within the company’s repertoire are marina work, boat lifts, installation of air conditioner units, small bridges, and other projects.
Some of their more noteworthy projects have included work on the movie set for “Days of Thunder,” staging for MTV’s Spring Break, the Daytona Boardwalk Redevelopment project, Daytona Bike Week, and installing lighting & Nextel NASCAR signage at the Daytona International Speedway.
Bryson Crane Rental Service, Inc. fully endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
